Glad you could make it. Apologies if perceived &#039;brush under carpet&#039; licensing approach was frustrating; main aim was to acknowldge and move on rather than either ignore or discuss (there was enough of that elsewhere). As it was I kind of fluffed my main point too about the need for the community to get over itself and look more outward in order to gain a voice and be engaged in the fabric of the debate about digital britain, democracy and so on.
As to your use case (and putting the hopefully soon to be resolved issue of derived data on one side) you might have a point re archaeology. However, compared to the cost of otherwise acquiring the data (given that OS detailed data is not going to be free any tome soon, especially if alleged sell off comes) and in relation to overall project costs, my point still stands in that as a proportion of total costs (for most activities requiring detailed data and consulting expertise) licensing such data is not punitive.
