		<description>To avoid using command line completely, you might try PostGIS Manager plugin. Apart from convenient preview of the database and tables, there&#039;s a GUI for most of the simple operations (including creation of indices), for more complex tasks there&#039;s SQL window where you can do anything :)</description>
